There are so many different ways to give. Hearts of Hope would not be here without the continuous support from our community.
Adrienne Wyble, a second grade student at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, knows the true meaning of giving. Learning at school about the charitable acts of giving and helping others in need impelled Adrienne to want to do just that! She said, “there are people who help other people but do not get any money for it so I can give them some of mine."
Since Christmas just passed and her 8th Birthday was right around the corner, Adrienne decided that it would be a perfect opportunity to do a good deed. Rather than receiving birthday presents from her friends, she asked that they would all donate money instead. Adrienne’s mother then helped out by giving her a list of local non-profits, explaining what each one is about. After learning about Stuller Place and its support services for abused children, her decision was made!
Along with the company of her younger sister, Amelia, two brothers, Ashton and Aidan, and school friend, Dalia Mouawad, she was able to donate all of her birthday money and saved up allowance for Stuller Place with a total of $191.73.
